Four day itinerary: The main town before the park is Diapaga, an eight hour drive from Ouagadougou. You can spend the night in one of Diapaga's hotels or in the simple camp at the park's entrance in Kabougou, 30 km from Diapaga. Second day : Safari drive, searching for big buffalo herds and roan antelope. Stop near Soanda viewpoint to observe cobs and other antelopes as they quench their thirst. Picnic on the Tamalé viewpoint to look for the resident lion family known to roam in the area. In the evening, you'll reach Point Triple and be able to visit the eco museum and enjoy the archaeological walking tour. Spend the night in Point Triple eco lodge admiring the view of the valley below. Third day Walking safari in the surrounding savannah. Enjoy a picnic in the eco lodge or the museum buvette on the banks of the Mekrou river. In the evening, safari drive to chute de Koudou, with an option for night safari in chutes area. Night in chutes de koudou Fourth day - head back to diapaga and ouaga or Niamey - a long day's drive
